African Safaris; 6 Days / 5 nights Wildlife adventure to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire

Depart Arusha in the morning to transfer to Tarangire National park. The drive will take you 4-5 hours. Reaching in the afternoon, you will have lunch and the go for a game drive in the late afternoon. Famous for its huge number of elephants, thousands of baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons, Tarangire lies south east of Lake Manyara and covers an area of approximately 2,850 sq km. Although it is relatively small, the park enjoys easy accessibility and boasts with some of the greatest concentrations of game in Tanzania -second only to the Ngorongoro Crater also an added bonus which makes it a truly incomparable scene attractive to many tourists than other Tanzanian parks. It is the vast number of baobabs that first capture the eye as you enter. Overnight at Tarangire lodge

Day 2: Tarangire - Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up to an early morning game drive in Tarangire National park before driving off to Ngorongoro conservation area. After the game drive you will transfer to Gibbs farm for lunch and then later proceed to Ngorongoro. You will reach the area in the evening. Overnight at Ngorongoro lodge

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

In the morning you will transfer to the crater floor to spend the whole day on the Ngorongoro Cater floor viewing game. This is the largest collapsed volcanic crater with such breath-taking beauty. Ngorongoro crater measures over 14 km across and teems with wildlife to all species. Its floor is full of watering holes dotting its surface will about 30,000 animals and surrounded with extinct Volcanoes. Expect to see the big five to include the black rhino. Day 4: Ngorongoro – Serengeti

Today you will transfer to Serengeti having a stop at the Olduvai Gorge a historical to learn more about Leakey’s 1959 famous discovery of “Homo Habilis” You will then proceed to Serengeti arriving in the afternoon. Overnight at your lodge

Day 5: Serengeti

Spend the entire day in Serengeti National park viewing game from Carnivores to antelopes, and birds. One of the Serengeti’s main attractions is the annual migration of wildebeest herds in search for better grazing. Every October and November, close to a million wildebeest and about 220,000 Zebras travel south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the tropical rains and then journey west and north after the long rains in April to June. Overnight at Serengeti lodge

Day 6; Transfer to Arusha.

Early morning you will have breakfast then transfer to Arusha arriving in the afternoon to end the safari.
